Land Cut Cabin is located to the south of Baffin Bay. Land Cut was finished in 1949 to create a waterway for boat traffic between the Upper and Lower Laguna Madre and today it is a very popular fishing spot for Trout and Redfish. A variety of fish (Redfish, Speckled Trout, Black Drum and Flounder) seem to bottleneck in this area as they migrate between the Upper and Lower Laguna Madre. The Land Cut cabin has three sets of bunk beds and one twin roll out bed to sleep seven comfortably with room to sleep four more on cots for a total of eleven. The Land Cut cabin is 47 miles from Marker 37
